About the Author

Dave was born and raised in Illinois and was a self-employed businessman for many years. Besides writing, he is also a musician, singer and collector of antiques, many of which he has restored, including furniture, juke boxes, gas station memorabilia and even old houses. He enjoys anything outside including fishing, boating, gardening and outdoor campfires. Other interests are music classic cars, sporting events and hanging out with good friends and family.

He is now semi-retired and loves taking road trips with the love of his life, Sheri. There isn't a day that goes by that he doesn't think about his old friend, "Otis".
